Shopify Admin API impose an additional throttle when a store has 50,000 product variants. Once this threshold is reached, the creation of new variants is limited to a maximum of 1,000 per day.

Please note that the limit mentioned is set by Shopify, not Copify. If you are a Shopify Plus subscriber, this limit does not apply to your store.
